Inspiration
Memorial. is born out of a heartfelt desire to help seniors, especially those with memory challenges like dementia. Having witnessed memory challenges many elderly face, we wanted to create something beneficial and enjoyable. Our goal is to make a positive impact on their well-being by offering a playful and helpful experience.
What it does
Memorial is a memory-boosting game that utilizes pictures of our loved ones to stimulate cognitive function. Users engage in a delightful brain workout by matching names with the correct images, earning points with each successful match. The game offers a simple yet effective way to enhance memory skills while providing an enjoyable and interactive experience.

Challenges we ran into
Coming up with ideas and learning web development were the main challenges. We spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas, but due to time limits and being new to web development, it was a bit tough. Coding was challenging too, especially for those of us who are not very experienced.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to build an interactive website within a tight 24-hour timeframe. Despite our limited experience in web development, we successfully learned and implemented some basic concepts.
What we learned
We learned valuable teamwork skills, including effective collaboration and embracing diverse opinions. Additionally, we gained programming knowledge throughout the process.
What's next for Memorial
Next steps for Memorial include incorporating more mini-games and enhancing data tracking and analysis, potentially creating a useful tool for medical professionals.
