What&When

Inspiration

For inspiration, we wanted to help our fellow college students to be more social and make friends as well as for them to socialize which has been shown to help with mental illness.

What it does

The python flask project creates a database containing the preferences, ages, and names of each person and allows us to get what we want from the database when asked for.

How we built it

For java, we used object-oriented programming to divide into objects that would store the information of the functions to store the data. For python, we used APIs and flask to help build the database, therefore hoping for it to be our end product.

Challenges we ran into were mainly networking databases that we could've provided on the project and also not being familiar enough with API and connecting it to python as it did not really help when it came to the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Despite the many challenges we faced we're proud of how much knowledge we learned in a short amount of time and that we pushed through to the end despite how our project will turn out.
