Inspiration

To improve upon and optimize the garbage collection & disposal methods carried upon in our country. To reduce the amount of wastes piled up in the dump yards by efficiently utilizing the wastes. To involve the company and a third party to carry out this whole ideation, henceforth increasing employment and user incentives.

What it does

Our website involves a total of 3 steps:

Collection of waste from the user. The waste collected is divided in 5 Categories : Paper, Plastic, Organic, Glass, Metal. The users can submit waste that
The delivery of the waste from the user to the company where the latter can order the waste materials they want to use/process, right to their doorstep.
Utilization of Waste : The company now, uses the waste by amicably collecting it, profusely processing it and efficiently recycling it. (For example: A packaging company may require old newspaper/books, an animal farm may require organic wastes and so on.)

How we built it

The user gathers the waste, segregates it by taking the help of the chatbot ‘Samarth Assistant’ available.
User Registers on our website along with details involving location, weight and type of waste.
The amount of collection from different user-cluster is calculated based on the type of waste. The clusters are shown as a list to the company, who further selects what kind of waste they want to process.
The waste is collected from users and delivered to relevant companies according to the selected constraints.

Business model

The idea can be extended to involve a business model by using Paytm API. This could be also considered as one of future perspectives of our model.

The user on generation of a particular type and amount of waste would receive a small amount of cash back on his/her Paytm account.

The total amount involving the distance, number of users is calculated.

This is the amount the company is required to pay to the delivery agency(us). The services provided to them by us is door-delivery of potential raw material to companies/industries/organizations. Hence the original idea can be extended to a self sustaining business model.

What's next for VYARTH

The future aspect can be extended to collection of wastes from community dustbins where the waste can be segregated at the instant it is dumped using Open Cv. Further, the incentives can be improved upon.
