Inspiration
Microsoft Surfaces, Apple iPads, and the plethora of Android tablets are all around us, but sometimes they're a little too...small. Or perhaps you want to collaborate to see the bigger picture? That's where WindowPane comes in.
What it does
WindowPane combines touchscreen devices in an incredibly easy-to-use manner to display and annotate any image.
How we built it
WindowPane uses OpenCV to track different devices, Firebase to sync them all together, and a modified version of an open-source HTML5 Canvas library to allow drawing.
Challenges we ran into
Computer Vision is hard. We'll just leave it at that.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got computer vision working! Putting two or three devices next to each other, everything actually lines up, and moving them around, things update almost in real time.
