Winspire

Inspiration

What inspired us is the lack of areas where women can express their struggles and successes as a way to give tips and advice to others who may be going through the same thing.

What it does

The project allows women to share their inspiring stories on a website so others can read them and also share their thoughts if they have any.

How we built it

We built it using Vscode, Github, Mantine, Next JS, Three.js, and PostgreSQL.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we ran into are how to connect Three.js with our deployed website in order to have a main page for the site.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Accomplishments that we're proud of is learning more about how to use the different databases and APIs.

What we learned

We learned the importance of communication and being open to new ideas that would require us to learn new information in a short amount of time. It also taught us how to approach problems as a team in order to come up with an efficient way to solve them.

What's next for Winspire

Next for Winspire is to create a connect option that would allow women to connect with each other based on their interests and career in order to create a safe space.
