💡 Inspiration

Tourism is a sector which can benefit rural economy. In the hustle of fast paced city life, we often desire a simple lifestyle. What if we can take a break and enjoy the simple lifestyle of Indonesia's villages? In this way we can integrate the rural population of Indonesia into the digital economy.

💻 What it does

Wisata is a village tourism site where we collaborate with villagers of Indonesia to provide tour packages to people from all around the globe. Villagers can collaborate with us and provide affordable housing to tourists. They can even be tour guides or organize cultural festivals.

⚙️ How we built it

We created a site using HTML, CSS and Javascript. We have included forms to allow villagers to register with us. Tourists can also register with us and book tour packages through forms. We collaborated over github and have hosted the site over github pages.

🔐 Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges due to slow loading of video and also in making the site responsive. We had a team of three members, one of the main team member backed out. We had complete the entire project by our own.

🏅 Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully built the site, made it responsive and used a image to be shown before the video loads. Completion of the project despite having a fairly inexperienced team is our biggest achievement.

📖 What we learned

We learnt to make the site responsive, how to use lotties, using javascript to change videos. We learned to created a detailed readme file in github. We also learned to edit video, make presentation and upload the video to github.
