We drew inspiration from Khan Academy, IB student support, and platforms like Zoom and Skillshare. Our goal was to combine accessibility and expertise to enhance learning methods.
What it does
WisdomLink enables users to connect with global experts in real-time, enhancing learning through personalized guidance. It bridges the gap between textbook knowledge and practical insights.
How we built it
We built WisdomLink using Flask for backend, HTML/CSS for frontend, and integrated WebRTC for real-time video calling. The app leverages the power of connecting learners and experts seamlessly.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating real-time video calls, ensuring scalability, and creating an intuitive design were some of the challenges we tackled. Ensuring compatibility on mobile devices was also a key concern.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of achieving a clean and intuitive design. Implementing real-time video calling, which is the heart of the app, was a major accomplishment.
