Inspiration

This app bridges the gap between women who need help and women who can provide help.

What it does

This app connects women in a community through their experiences. It encourages women to help each other by offering an easy platform to communicate on one interface.

How we built it

We used a website called Thunkable to piece together our project. It incorporates coding and visual "puzzle" pieces to make a working application.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues with between deciding between Andriod and iOS app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having an outline and implementing an idea.

What we learned

How much work it takes to incorporate simple features. The "debugging" process.

What's next for WomenTogether

We plan on creating a pop-up box for users to rate the safety of areas. We plan on including color markers assigned to categorize each feature. The "chat box" purpose is to allow discussion on any topics, like giving advice/tips or even recommendations -- ex: where to find a job or if someplace is hiring.
