Inspiration

The need for a secure, efficient, and cost-effective platform for social impact organizations to collaborate and work together inspired the creation of Kutumbh X Mantle DAO. Traditional communication and collaboration methods, such as email and phone calls, can be time-consuming, costly, and opaque. Kutumbh X Mantle DAO provides a secure, decentralised, and transparent solution by leveraging blockchain technology and the Mantle protocol, allowing social impact organisations to collaborate more effectively.

What it does

Kutumb offers a secure and decentralized platform for sharing files within a DAO. By allowing members to upload files, folders, or encrypted Content IDs (CIDs) to the platform, Kutumb makes it easy for teams to share information and collaborate on projects. This is particularly useful for social impact organizations and startups that need to store and share large files securely.

With its chat and multi-channel team communication features including push notifications, Kutumb also makes it easy for teams to stay connected and work together effectively. By providing a platform for team members to send and receive messages with it's inbuilt alert notifications, create specialized team channels. Kutumb helps teams to stay organized and communicate effectively using live streaming through Livepeer

How we built it

CONTRACT ADDRESS - 0x1705Be686E606FF75Aa4C2F636Cbd8D5f7956b59 (Mantle testnet) Kutumbh X Mantle DAO was built by me utilizing a range of technologies to create a robust and user-friendly platform. The developer used Solidity to build the smart contracts that underpin the platform's transaction system, which was deployed on the Mantle testnet. For the front end, the developer used Next.js, a popular JavaScript framework for building web applications.

Challenges we ran into

The project was challenging as it required a deep understanding of blockchain technology and the Mantle protocol, as well as expertise in software development. I had to navigate various technical challenges, including implementing secure data storage and integrating advanced features such as the chat system and file sharing capabilities.

Despite these challenges, I was able to create a functioning platform that meets the needs of social impact organizations. The platform's fast and cost-effective transaction system, combined with its focus on data privacy, security, and transparency, makes it a powerful tool for organizations working to make a positive impact.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Overall, building Kutumbh X Mantle DAO was a significant accomplishment for me, demonstrating my technical skill and commitment to creating innovative solutions for social impact.

What we learned

I learned about the challenges and opportunities of building a platform that utilizes blockchain technology and the Mantle protocol. Additionally, they gained valuable experience in designing and implementing advanced features such as fast and cost-effective transactions and ensuring data privacy and security.

What's next for Kutumb X Mantle

Moving forward, I plan to continue to improve the platform by adding new features and integrations to meet the evolving needs of social impact organizations. Additionally, they plan to increase awareness of the platform and its benefits to attract more users and foster a more connected and impactful community.
