Inspiration

When looking for new ideas, we were shocked with the amount of great innovative solutions already existing for the global issues. Instead of trying to create a brand new one, we decided to act on the root-cause of low engagement on this solutions. We do this by providing the user with a centralized tool that helps both people that want to help - and most times do not know the means for it - and the causes that need collaboration. Our tool gives people the directions to follow and be the change they want to see in the world.

What it does

We know You Care. Our solution is a hub that uses UN Global Goals to guide you through sustainable acts that need you. By clicking on each goal you are presented to its description and main opportunities to get involved on it. You can find all solutions already related to that goal, so we give them the opportunity to shine. In our community tab, you can share your thoughts and accomplishments with others. Also, we connect you with nearby NGOs for you to help your local community.

How we built it

We built our solution starting with a brainstorming phase. While looking for possibilities of impact, we found out that many inspiring solutions did not have the much needed spotlight for people to get to know it. That was when we saw the opportunity of unifying those solutions around the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was to design the app from scratch, learning a lot about UX/UI and presentation skills.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finding an idea that impact all of the 17 UN global goals, and powers the community to work together towards a common objective.
