Inditex Visual API integration

Inspiration

This project was inspired by big apps like bereal and tinder, we tried to bring together the artistic side of the simple moments of bereal with Tinders technology to recommend the best clothes for anyone.

What it does

Our innovative app brings you the best of fashion technology, powered by Inditex's Visual Search API. Simply upload or capture an image, and the app will instantly find matching products from their catalog. You’ll get detailed product info, pricing, and availability, plus the ability to save your favorite items to a wishlist and share them on social media.

But the true game-changer? TinDress – the Tinder for clothes! Swipe right on outfits you love and add them to your wishlist, or swipe left to move on to new recommendations. TinDress learns your preferences to give you more personalized style options, making fashion discovery fun, fast, and totally interactive!

How we built it

We built this web app using nextjs and supabase.

Challenges we ran into

At the start of the project we faced some problems when we were integrating multiple APIs with our database and when trying to understand how to put it all together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We extremely proud of the TinDress service inside of our app with which we were able to integrate into our app a very fun way to recommend clothes. We are also of our scraping job behind the scenes to display products with their respecting images.

What we learned

We learned how to integrate multiple APIs together to create a centralized platform where we can display our information in a unique way.

What's next for ZaraMatch

We would love to connect with better data sources that would allow us to create some innovative solutions like integrating an AI outfit generator that could help people out with their style.
