Inspiration
Shipper's frustration with rescreening charges and struggles with sharing paper copies of seal numbers
What it does
Captures photos of the seal at origin and destination, using OCR and image comparison to automatically validate if seal is exactly alike. Data is shared via OneRecord instead of paper copy.
How we built it
C# in Visual Studio, with connections to Azure Cognitive Services, for Android/iOS app development Mulesoft platform, connected to OneRecord
Challenges we ran into
Difficulties with OneRecord installation Finding best OCR SDK, to meet our specific needs
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Teamwork and osmosis of knowledge amongst Recognizing opportunities that OneRecord provides
What we learned
Sleep is overrated
What's next for ZeroOneFour
Look to launch internally (terminal to aircraft) to start as it requires all parties to be on OneRecord. Opportunities to launch a slightly modified version to internally track/record high value shipments.
