What is it?
In October 2023 (Last Month), Tesla finally launched official Tesla API that lets you get real time data for your car. We attempt to bring off-chain Tesla driving data to be able to create Insurance protocol on it in the future.
Why in Leo?
Why Leo? - Because we can compute on private data. E.g. you do not have to share location, just that you don’t park your car where 100 break-ins were reported last month. Or, you do not have to share where you drove to, just that you drove less than 200 miles this month.
Challenges I ran into
Apart from being in a completely new language, I had difficult time testing, and deploying the code. I also had issues transpiling python ML code to Leo. But this is mostly me not working fast enough. 3 days was enough. Perhaps next time, hackathon time could start after "Learn" part.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Understanding the Leo architecture in a short time, and getting a solid understanding of how zKML in Leo can work for future projects.
