Inspiration
The game was developed at Global Game Jam 2014 and inspirited from Plants vs. Zombies and endless running games.
How it works
The main goal of the game is avoiding the zombie to get in the door on the right side by attacking. Players can choose an arrow, rocket, or fireball to attack the zombie and defend the door.
Challenges I ran into
Implementing the physics feature of Unity to sprites.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I was the team leader of the team of 5 at the game jam, and the game was finished as designed on time in 48 hours. Finally, the game was published to the Windows Phone application store in 2014.
What I learned
This was the first game that I developed by using Unity. I learned how to use Unity to simplify the process of developing games compared with the developing process that I went through by using other technologies such as OpenGL and XNA.
What's next for Zombaby
Features could be added in the future include:
- Power up items
- More weapons
- Better arts
- In app purchases
