I'm a MechE major at CMU. I'm good with Solidworks but I like coding and electronics too.
I am new to working with Raspberry Pi so I went with a relatively simple project. I am making a two-axis arm actuated by servo motors controlled by the Pi. At the end of this arm is a RPi camera.
Ever take a dump and go “Oh SHIT! I’m out of toilet paper!”? Well, never again. Our project will upgrade CMU's hygiene, happiness, and efficiency by notifying custodial staff when toilet paper is low.
