2. Description of Service
Distill is a GitHub application that consolidates comments from multiple AI code review bots into a single, deduplicated summary. The Service analyzes pull request comments from tools like CodeRabbit, GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, and others, then posts a unified review summary.
3. Account Requirements
To use Distill, you must:
- Have a valid GitHub account
- Authorize Distill to access your repositories
- Have appropriate permissions on the repositories where you install Distill
- Be at least 13 years of age
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Use the Service to transmit malicious code or content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use patterns
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Distill and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to your code and repository content. By using Distill, you grant us a limited license to access and process your pull request comments solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6. AI-Generated Content
Distill uses artificial intelligence to analyze and consolidate code review comments. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated summaries may contain errors or omissions. You should always review the original bot comments and use your professional judgment when making code decisions.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISTILL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Distill and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease.
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling Distill from your GitHub repositories and revoking its access.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
