Save the display artwork of the selected track to a file

AppleScript for iTunes

Obligatory warning: This script has been designated as an obsoleted "Retro Script". There is no guarantee that it will function as described with modern versions of iTunes (or the newer Music or TV apps) and/or macOS. If used in its current form it may not work at all without modification. At worst, it may corrupt or delete data.

Save the artwork of the single selected track to a user-chosen folder as a PNG or JPG file, with scaling options. Default location is the folder containing the selected track's file, however any location can be selected.

This script replaced the script "Save Artwork to Folder", which was removed as of may 22, '08. Additionally, the latest version of Save Album Art to Album Folder is similar to this script but, in my opinion, is far better.

Designated as a Retro Script because it may not work well in post-Snow Leopard operating systems.
