Assuming first strike and double strike aren’t involved, the creatures still hit each other at the same time. So deathtoucher kills the blocker, since any damage is enough to kill, but deathtoucher also gets hit back by the blockers at the same time, and could die.

But will it’s power still hit the attacker with deathtouch? So if blocking creatures power is higher than attackers toughness, the deathtouch-creature also dies?

Short answer: Your creature takes out one of them and then the remaining blocker trades off with your attacker.
Double strike will work the same way no matter how many creatures block you. If you’ve got a 3-power doubler-striker, you deal 3 damage first, and anything left over on your/your opponent’s side hit each other as if it were a normal combat.

(for example, i have a 3/3 with double strike and i’m being attacked by a 3/3 and a 4/3, would my creature take them both out without dying or would it work on one and trade with the other one?)

Hey, thanks for reading! The primary reason is that this article is meant to be a source of information surrounding blocking and blocking-related questions. Banding is related, but it’s basically nonexistent in the average MTG player’s lives nowadays. We do, however, have an article on the subject.

Just wondered why Banding didn’t make the list of all things blocking. I know it’s been removed from the concept of feature cards but still exists in the game and it’s rules.
