You fight a great fight against the American Bankers Association.

Banks don’t lend deposits. All bank-held savings are lost to both consumption and investment. Japan’s lost decade is prima facie evidence. At one time “Japanese households held 52% of their money in currency & deposits, vs 35% for people in the Eurozone and 14% for the US.”

The partial solution is the 1966 Interest Rate Adjustment Act. It drained money and increased the transaction’s velocity of bank-held savings.

The legal system , along with the economic system needs a re-birth – a upgrade – a new paradigm that is of the same spirited principals of a Hamilton economic process – a government Of – For- and BY the people, included into the legal system for “The COMMON GOOD”.
