The Month View is really helpful when working on larger projects.
I use it with the integrated details pane (macOS).
It would be great if clicking on a task didn't open a separate window for the entire day, but instead simply displayed the details for that task in the integrated details pane.
It would also be helpful if tasks could be moved directly via drag-and-drop in the monthly view, without having to go through the extra daily window.
If these two features could be integrated, it would be possible to work almost entirely without additional calendar apps (BusyCal, etc.). That would be a huge relief in daily work, as it reduces the annoying back-and-forth switching between different applications.
Thank you very much for your efforts!
]]>I had really hoped that this suggestion would be included in the latest update.
In addition, the undo function (Cmd+Z) is unreliable in some cases, which can sometimes lead to very serious problems. Especially since GoodTask is marketed as a project management tool, this function should work reliably.
It would be really reassuring not to receive the standard response here, but rather a commitment that the issue will be addressed.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your kindness in this matter.
]]>I was really hoping this suggestion would be included in the latest update. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
Would it at least be possible to enable drag-and-drop of images onto tasks?
Thank you very much!
]]>There is an issue on macOS which you've mentioned but it only happens rarely. As you open the Reminders app and let macOS know that it needs to refresh the data, it should get refreshed afterwards without opening the Reminders app. Thanks!
]]>I have been using the iOS version of Goodtask for quite a while now and I really like it. I decided to test out the mac version in the hopes that it will help me be more productive. Unfortunately, I found that after checking off several tasks from my phone, those tasks didn't appear completed on my macbook. I clicked the gear icon at the bottom to hard refresh, but that didn't do the job. I then opened the native Reminders app, and when that loaded the tasks synced correctly in Goodtask.
Is this the expected behavior? Is it something that would be resolved by purchasing the full version, or by changing a setting? There's a lot I like about the mac app, but if I always have to open reminders to get it to sync I don't know if it's worth the hassle.
Thanks in advance for your help!
]]>You can go into Settings > Appearance > Task Display and adjust 'Default' option to work on all list views. You can make another option and set it per list if you'd like to.
Hope it helps. Thanks!

P.S. Can we not upload videos in the forum?
]]>Unfortunately, it is not possible to correct typing errors in a subtask in the "New Task" window, once another subtask has been created. Or am I overseeing something here?
It is very time-consuming to be able to do this only after confirming the task and editing the subtask again in the "detail" window. It would be great if this could be changed in the next update.
Thanks a lot!

Sorry for misinformation...
]]>As far as I'm aware, it's not available on EventKit. Would you let me know where you've got the data? I'd love to support it if it's available. Thanks!
]]>Is Reminder flagged status available in GoodTask?
I can't see flagged status in GoodTask but maybe I'm not looking in the right place
I see previous posts that it wasn't available and suggesting posting a request to Apple
However, it like it's available in the Reminders Suite in Script Editor, and also as the EKReminder.priority property in EventKit
]]>When I try this for February, for example, due date is set to be last day of month in Reminders (Feb 28). I set start date in GoodTask to be Feb 1. When I complete the task, the next due date for the recurring task is March 28 and next start date is not set to March 1.
Is there a way to set this up to have monthly recurring tasks with start date of 1st of month and due date the last day of the month?
Thanks!

]]>In Board View links appear as full paths in the notes field. In the detail window of the task they show correctly formatted without the path (markdown link, shown as "MAIL").
It would be very helpful if the markdown formatting could also be seen in board view. Is that possible?
]]>I have created an AppleScript to insert links to emails in tasks.
The script also converts the links to Markdown.
These links are displayed correctly formatted in the details window.
Unfortunately, this is not the case in the list and board views.
What do I need to do to get the formatted view of the links there as well?
Many thanks and best regards,

]]>Is it possible in a future update to only allow urgent alarms for tasks in particular lists as well? Therefore, we can still have high priority tasks that trigger standard notifications, but also have ones that also trigger alarms. Right now, it's all or nothing.
Thanks!!!

Is there a way to change this?

]]>Example 1:
A selected task in a board needs to have a tag added to it without using the cursor.
I have created a shortcut for a quick action that opens the tag window.
Unfortunately, I now have to use the cursor to scroll through a long list of tags to select the right one with a click.
It would be much easier if the tag window had a text field in which an entry could be quickly added (as in the dialog window when creating a NEW task by typing #).
In this way, entering a single initial letter (followed by the return key) would be enough to quickly achieve the desired result.
Example 2:
When clicking on the tag icon in the detail window of a task, the method described above would also be very helpful.
Thanks again!
One more note on a workaround I just tried:
In order to be able to quickly assign at least the most frequently used tags, I created them as quick actions and assigned keyboard shortcuts to them.
The assigned keys are displayed in the GUI, but often only work for a short time after the app has been restarted...
It is very convenient that tag completion is offered when creating new tasks.
It would be a great help if this option were available in all other contexts where tags are used. As soon as you want to add a tag retrospectively, the process becomes a little bumpy, etc..
Maybe I miss something here?
Thanks!

]]>About the swipe left/right options on a task: There are many options available, but why can't we have a "List" option to quickly move a task to another list?
Actually, it takes four steps to achieve this common action.(swipe → grouped actions → List icon → Choose list)
Thanks !
]]>If links are copied into the note field of a task, could they be automatically converted to markdown links?
As a link title, there could be a standard placeholder text such as "Link"...?
This would make the appearance of lists that contain many tasks with links immediately appear clearer and encourage focused work.
What do you think?
Thanks and best,
