Wick editor is not meant to make movies/long animations

The issue is that Wick’s programming itself is as unoptimized as Chrome. An example is Scratch. The Scratch Virtual Machine uses a slow, JSON-based format that is limited to 5 MB per project.

Wick doesn’t have a limit, but around the 25-50 MB mark it starts lagging, and after 500 MB the chances of it crashing before loading are very high.

Why buy another software? Just build on this one. Wick can be great! - WebAnimate is a commercial fork of Wick and its quite good. I myself am building “Wick-ED” As an educational fork to teach the basics of game building and animation. Wick doesn’t need to purchase ADOBE’s anything - Infact I have always thought ADOBE was a company that didn’t deserve their reputation. They influenced Universities very early in computing to make them selves an “Industry Standard”. They do produce good products though! I personally love After Effects. But this Open Source Copyleft - University backed and funded software, doesn’t need to purchase anything. Just improve with input over time.

If you’re using google as your browser you could switch to a less memory intensive browser like firefox so wick editor can load it more smoothly and make it less likely to crash with long projects

i’m also looking for voice actors and animators. here is a list:

Bubblegum: girl, bossy, annoyed, and afraid
Bob the guy: stickman (boy) Mid temper, doesn’t really want to do the challenges
Quesadilla: Girl, wants to do most challenges
Mallow: girl, Active in between high and medium pitched voice, is always happy and fluffy.
Shopping bag: boy, Shy, afraid to be eliminated
USB, boy, always cool and stuff
Rubber ball: boy, yapps too much about his “plot armor” to rejoin the game.
Hat: boy, in a meh mood sometimes
Glass pane: girl, Afraid, same as bubble gum but rarely bossy.
Ramen bowl: might need someone to talk in Japanese or just get a robot voice.
Strawberry milkshake: girl, calm
Weird green stuff: boy, basically just acid, calm
Plate: (not from AO) host (voiced by me)
(for voice acting if you want, so
choose any!)

i need good animators too! (Or bad idc)
