FuelFree

FuelFree is a graphical user interface (GUI) application designed to promote eco-friendly activities and raise awareness about carbon emissions. It provides users with tools to explore data, track their carbon footprint, engage in environmentally friendly practices, and interact with a chatbot for recommendations.

Features

  • Dashboard: Visualizes fossil fuel consumption data by region and per capita.
  • Carbon Footprint Tracker: Allows users to track their carbon footprint through interactive graphs and charts.
  • Activity Recommendations: Provides recommendations for eco-friendly activities including OddEven, PublicTransport, and ElectricVehicle initiatives.
  • Chatbot: Interacts with CarbonCutter, the chatbot, to receive recommendations and answers to environmental queries.
  • User Authentication: Enables users to log in securely to access personalized features and data tracking.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/FuelFree.git
    

2.Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

3.Run the application:

Add a .env file to store your API_KEY from cohere used to access the chatbot.

python main.py

Usage Navigate to the login page and enter your credentials to access the dashboard.

Explore different sections of the application including analytics, activity recommendations, and the chatbot.

Use the chatbot to ask questions or get recommendations for eco-friendly activities.

Track your carbon footprint and explore fossil fuel consumption data for different regions.
