For our project we won second place out of hundreds of teams across British Columiba and $2,000 in prize money
All members of my team were working as residence advisors at the time. Our project was to develop a web-based application for college housing to allocate and pair students for best placment. We drew on our experience both with diversity in housing and the business applications of the idea to create a finished project.
Presentation is almost everything. There where many very good teams with better code than ours. The biggest difference was how they decided to present it. I realized from this that product with out presentation is nothing, presentation without product is a scam, but product and presention together is power.
