Peer mentorship app developed for Macathon 2025, connecting Monash students with experienced peers or alumni for academic and personal guidance.

1. Clone this repository.
2. Open the project in Android Studio.
3. Add your google-services.json file in the app/ directory.
4. Sync Gradle and run the app on an emulator or Android device.

Built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, Monash Mates uses:

• Firebase Authentication for secure login
• Firestore for user profiles
• Realtime Database for instant chat
• Firebase Storage for media sharing
