Trackerly

Winter Hacks 2021

https://jonathanpaugh.github.io/Trackerly/

Inspiration

We wanted to create a investment portfolio tracker app that integrates with many different platforms to allow a user to easily track all of their investments. People often run into the problems making financial decisions with their entire portfolio in mind. With Trackerly, users are able to make informed decisions because they know all the information about their assets that are stored in multiple locations.

What it does

Uses integrations from multiple platforms to track relevant portfolio data all in one place. Provides users with relevant stats and data to make informed financial decisions.

How we built it

Figma Html Css

Challenges we ran into

Due to limited time and the fact that this project is very integration heavy, we decided to stick to mainly the design of the app because we would not have time for a working implementation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are happy with the way our design turned out, this was the most in-depth design we have done so far using Figma.

What we learned

We learned that a design can give a really good look into how something will turn out and give life to ideas that weren't thought of during planning. During this step everything can still change pretty quickly so it allowed us to pivot our design when needed, without it being a large problem to do so.

What's next for Trackerly

We are planning to continue working on this project and we hope to have a basic working implementation within the next few weeks. We think this project could be very useful for a large group of user, especially when the integrations are complete.
