Welcome! My name is Maheer, and I'm a third-year Computer Engineering student at McMaster University.
Here’s what I’m up to:
- Helping run DeltaHacks, one of Canada’s largest student-run hackathons 🚀
- Designing and implementing an FPGA-based image decompressor using Intel Quartus and Verilog, exploring the field of hardware design
My journey into engineering began with a love for mathematics and physics, which evolved into a passion for digital systems, computer architecture, and low-level software design. I enjoy building things that bridge software and hardware — from embedded applications to FPGA logic.
Outside of engineering, you’ll usually find me biking, editing videos, or playing basketball with friends 🏀🚴♂️.
- A programming knowledge-sharing database that allows users to learn and teach simultaneously
- A developer search engine that curates GitHub repositories for inspiration based on custom queries
- My personal portfolio website, showcasing projects in embedded systems and hardware-software co-design
