Chatter Frontend

A modern chat application built with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18.x or later
  • npm or yarn

Setup

  1. Clone the repository

  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
    # or
    yarn install
  3. Start the development server:

    npm run dev
    # or
    yarn dev
  4. Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser

Deployment

  1. The application is configured to use the backend at https://mayflask.vercel.app

  2. Deploy to Vercel:

    vercel
  3. No additional environment variables are needed as the API URL is hardcoded in next.config.js

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
