A few key things I know people are actively using have been left up (for now). The rest have been taken down in protest against the disregard of license, copyright (and copyleft) and ethics.
In addition, recently I posted an article online with sme hello-world-esk code, with no links to it, just to see what would happen. Within a day, I was hammered with traffic identifying itself as ChatGPT, Claude and the like. Some ignore robots.txt and scrape anyway.
I hope to find another way of hosting code in future, perhaps an invite-only self-hosted server or similar.
