🚨 Breaking changes

Installed apps are now tracked.
Apps installed via Github Store are stored locally, and the app can now detect when an update is available so you can update them directly from Github Store.
On desktop, downloaded installers are now saved to your system Downloads folder instead of an internal temp directory.

Installed apps database and update checking, including a new Apps screen on Android for managing installed applications.
AppImage support and improved Linux installer logic (DEB/RPM/AppImage) for a smoother desktop installation experience.
Dynamic color theme support on Android (Material You), with the “Dynamic” option shown only when supported.
AMOLED black theme option for dark mode, configurable in Settings and persisted via DataStore.
“Open in AppManager” integration on Android to inspect APKs (permissions, trackers, etc.) before installing.
Home screen categories reworked: TRENDING, RECENTLY_UPDATED, and NEW now use clearer, time‑based filters for more relevant results.
Ability to cancel downloads from the UI.

What’s new in 1.3.0

Optional GitHub login & smarter rate limits
Browse and install apps without logging in, using the lower anonymous rate limit, or sign in with GitHub for a much higher limit and smoother experience. Rate limit state is now tracked globally so the app can show a clear dialog when you hit the limit and tell you when it resets.
Safer, narrower permissions
The login flow now always requests only the repo scope, reducing the permissions you grant while still allowing the app to fetch releases and installers.
Liquid Glass top bar toggle
The fancy Liquid Glass effect on the details top bar can now be enabled conditionally, giving you modern visuals without sacrificing usability or performance on weaker devices.
Smoother navigation with Navigation 3
The app has been migrated to Navigation 3 for a cleaner, more maintainable navigation setup across screens and platforms.
UI/UX refresh
Multiple visual and interaction tweaks make browsing, searching, and installing apps feel more polished and consistent.
Settings improvements
Logout and related account actions have been moved into the Settings feature for a more predictable, centralized experience.
