During my studies I have built up a strong foundation in computer systems, algorithms, ML & AI, and real-world software development. Iβm passionate about solving complex engineering problems and building reliable, scalable systems that have real-world impact.
For the past 16 months, I worked at ePIC Blockchain Technologies, a crypto mining company, where I contributed to the development and optimization of large-scale, performance-critical infrastructure. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for low-level systems, resource efficiency, and writing clean, maintainable code in high-stakes environments.
Currently, I'm working under Professor Steve Mann on a research-driven project involving augmented reality (AR) glasses for real-time navigation and obstacle detection. This project combines computer vision, embedded systems, and real-time data processing β offering me hands-on experience with both hardware interfacing and software systems design.
- ποΈ Software Architecture & Design β building modular, scalable, and maintainable codebases
- βοΈ Backend Development β REST APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- π§ͺ Testing & Reliability Engineering β unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD workflows
- π οΈ Developer Tooling & Automation β improving productivity with internal tools and scripts
- π§ AI & ML - building and training models to solve problems
Whether itβs diving deep into Rust, C++, Python, or exploring new technologies, I enjoy building things that push the boundaries of what's possible and make technology more intuitive and accessible.
Feel free to explore more about me and the projects I've worked on at tyyan03.github.io β I'm always open to collaboration and excited to take on new challenges in the software engineering field.
