Hi there, I'm Chris Sanchez 👋

I'm a senior Computer Science student at Florida International University with a passion focused on backend development. Experienced in Python through practical application in open-source projects, API integration, and webhook testing. A dedicated and fast-learning student committed to contributing to real-world solutions.

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on:
    • BrewEase, a SaaS-based café POS platform designed to support in-store ordering, kitchen display workflows, payments, and customer loyalty within a multi-tenant architecture. Currently working within the Backend Team with Node.js, Express.js, and Firebase Databases.
    • My own custom Portfolio + HomeLab website, a website dedicated as a portfolio of my accomplishments as a Backend Software Engineer and a view into my Homelab project data (separate from my Homelab controller for managing over these projects).
    • Applying for internships, where I'd like to take the Summer to really learn all I can in a real-world enviornment while giving my all for the company I'll be working with, and hopefully building a connection to continue giving them my all with any future opportunities they may offer.
    • Developing a way to demonstrate my projects, likely thru creating Youtube videos atleast demonstrating my collection of HomeLab projects, or creating mini videos of each, all collected within one Youtube playlist.
  • 🌱 I’m currently deepening my knowledge of Flask, React, MySQL, 3-D Printing, and developing data reading for my current HomeLab projects.
