Welcome to my GitHub profile! I hold a Double Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and am currently pursuing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence. My professional focus lies at the intersection of mathematical theory and the practical application of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Data Analysis in research environments.
I am actively seeking opportunities to apply my strong technical and analytical background in the research and development of advanced AI systems.
- Master's in Artificial Intelligence (2024 - 2026) - USC
- Double Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics (2018 - 2024) - USC
- Average Grade: Computer Science: 9.06/10 | Mathematics: 9.01/10
Here is a summary of the technologies and areas where I specialize, and what you can find in my repositories:
- Computer Vision: Automatic classification of medical images (as in my Final Degree Project) and application of deep architectures.
- Deep Learning: Experience with Few-Shot models (as in my CiTIUS grant) and advanced techniques for compositional tabular data preprocessing and augmentation.
- ML/DL Stack: Python (Advanced), PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, Scikit-learn.
- Design and implementation of ETL processes.
- Dimensional modeling and optimization of SQL queries (Advanced).
- 🏆 Ministry of Education Collaboration Grant (2023-2024): Awarded for the academic year, supporting the research carried out for the Computer Science Final Degree Project on Deep Learning for medical image classification.
- 🏆 HackUDC 2024 - EcoViaggio: Winner of the Best Open Source Solution (GPUL) Award and the BizAway challenge. Developed a clustering and graph analysis algorithm to optimize travel routes, minimizing carbon footprint.
- Feb 2025 – Present (CiTIUS): Research on Few-Shot Classification of metagenomic data, achieving around 10% F1-score improvement over traditional methods.
- Nov 2023 – Jun 2024 (CiTIUS): Deep Learning research for automatic medical image classification, obtaining F1-scores above 95%.
- Mar 2024 – May 2024 (Altia): Data Engineering Training Course; focused on SQL optimization, dimensional modeling, and implementing ETL processes.
- Jun 2023 – Sep 2023 (CITMAga): Developed an automatic result visualization in R for a solving Differential-Algebraic Equations (DAE) program.
