Material should be using the system font; on most platforms we have a specific font (Roboto, San Francisco, etc.) but on Linux we should be getting that information from the system. E.g., on Ubuntu it should be Ubuntu, but that wouldn't be right for Debian.

The current thinking is that we should query the system for that an pass it in the initial configuration system channel (which isn't currently being sent at all on Linux IIRC, but we can certainly add it).
