For videos to auto-play on the web, they must start "muted".

The current video player platform interface API does not have a direct way of setting a "muted" attribute other than assuming that volume 0.0 means "muted".

Does the Video Player plugin need a "muted" attribute, as mentioned in the discussion above? Or is the web workaround "acceptable"?
