This regression is due to the fact that `animationController.isAnimating` and `animationController.status.isAnimating` sometimes return opposite values. This PR implements & tests the bugfix, and also adds documentation to explain this behavior. <br> fixes flutter#153851 cc @azeunkn0wn @huycozy
