This pull request correctly implements sending a CONTENT_CHANGE_TYPE_CHECKED accessibility event on Android API 36+ when a widget's checked or toggled state changes. The refactoring of sendWindowContentChangeEvent to support different change types is a good improvement. The new functionality is also well-covered by new unit tests.
I have a few suggestions to make the new tests more concise and readable by using Java Streams to verify the events.

FYI, when I test in my app using this change, I get the expected announcement of "checked/not checked" for checkboxes and "on/off" for switches. |

this is a new AccessibilityEvent added in android 16 api 36: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/accessibility/AccessibilityEvent#CONTENT_CHANGE_TYPE_CHECKED
So I tested this on checkbox and switch, it announces (checked, partially checked, not checked ) for status changes now,
in android 15 it was announcing (checked, not checked ) for check box and announcing(on, off) for the switch widget. I think (checked, not checked ) is not ideal for switch widget but better than nothing.
