  • VSCode Version: 0.10.11
  • OS Version: Windows 10

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. right click on an unknown file type, like .vscodeignore or .eslintrc
  2. choose Open with...
  3. Select VS Code and check always use this app to open files of this type

The file gets the app icon of VS Code, not the document icon:
