I'm your typical gaming nerd with a long history and deep interest in tech + computers. I actually got into coding because of my heavy interest in puzzle and idle automation video games, writing and optimizing scripts to do all the boring stuff for me. I transitioned from studying cells at UBC (BSc in Cellular Biology) to studying code at BCIT (CST).
Turns out, debugging CRISPR-Cas9 off-target effects and debugging a Java loop require the same amount of patience and way too much caffeine. π€―
- I have two velcro-golden retrievers that insist they are suitable lap dogs.
- My favourite video games are basically just visual/gamified IDEs (Factorio, Farmer Was Replaced, Hacknet, etc.)
- I have a soft spot for the aesthetic of 8-bit RPGs and cozy farming sims.
- I'm currently a Term 2 student, studying Computer Systems Technology at BCIT.
- I'm revisiting a full-stack project (Ha.BIT) from 2 years ago, currently revamping the codebase and learning new technologies as I go.
- I recently got a BBL P1S 3D printer, during my free time I dabble a bit in 3D Modeling and learning Fusion360.
