I’m a Computer Science student at Columbia University focused on building high-performance, human-centered software. I work across software engineering, applied AI, game development, and interactive media— designing systems that are not only technically strong, but usable and visually intuitive. I’m most motivated by products that create tangible impact, whether through education, intelligent tools, or technology that improves everyday life. I’m also interested in how engineering intersects with biology, chemistry, and culture, exploring how interdisciplinary thinking can shape more meaningful, accessible technology.
My toolkit reflects the mix of projects I’ve explored — from building games in Unity, training models in PyTorch, and designing interfaces with SwiftUI, to writing algorithms in C++ and sketching mockups in Figma. Whether I’m working solo or collaborating through GitHub, I value clean code, thoughtful design, and choosing the right tool for the task. Growing up multilingual shaped how I think and learn — I speak English and Mandarin fluently, and have studied Japanese for several years through both academic and daily life immersion. I’ve also dabbled in Korean recently, driven by curiosity and cultural interest. Language learning for me is not just communication — it’s a way of understanding people and systems more deeply.
