Just wondering, if you do "The total financial value of the person as calculated by subtracting assets from liabilities." for solvent (most) people you get a negative number. In any case its sign is the opposite to what I would expect. Do you actually mean
"The total financial value of the person as calculated by subtracting liabilities from assets"?
