In the new configuration, python appengine code is located in a git submodule referenced from a new separate repository - sdopythonapp.
To simplify running locally, in the Google Appengine SDK, is controlled by a script
./runpythonapp.shand deployment to a Google cloud appengine instance by the script./deploypythonapp.sh.Python and other scripts in the
./scriptsdirectory have been updated to obtain functionality from within thesdopythonappsubmodule.
