General clean-ups in sdoowl.py

• Factored out code that makes pretty comments.
• Removed multiple imports, including one alias.
• Make sets which are never change frozensets (as opposed to arrays).
• Marked methods called by the constructor (and nowhere else) as protected.
• Fixed spacing.
