ClearView - Accessibility Mode Chrome Extension

ClearView is a user-friendly Google Chrome extension designed to make web content more accessible for individuals with disabilities. With ClearView, users can activate specific modes that adjust the visual styling of web pages to meet various accessibility needs, enhancing readability and reducing eye strain.

Features

ClearView offers the following accessibility modes:

  • Colorblind Mode: Adjusts colors on the page to improve contrast and readability for colorblind users.
  • Dyslexia Mode: Changes the font to OpenDyslexic, a typeface designed for dyslexic readers, and highlights text as users hover over it.
  • ADHD Mode: Increases line spacing and softens background colors for improved focus and readability.
  • Eyestrain Mode: Applies a softer, dark mode theme to reduce screen brightness and ease eye strain.
  • Magnify Mode: Enlarges the content on the page for users who need larger text or images to read comfortably.

Usage

  • Click on the ClearView icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the extension's popup.
  • Select a mode by clicking its button.
  • When a mode is active, the button will change to red.
  • When deactivated, the button returns to blue.
  • Each mode applies specific CSS adjustments to enhance web page accessibility.
