I'm considering forking Violentmonkey, upgrading to manifest V3 & managing the project. I've used VM for years & porting existing code to Tampermonkey seems like about the same effort as forking Violentmonkey. At least in the short term. The big question now is whether I make this a public project as a downloadable Chrome extension, have a forum, etc... But the only way I would do that is if two things are true.

1) With the permission (or at a minimum, lack of opposition) from @tophf. I don't want to build a competing product to something that exists & works well.

2) If it is a public good. I don't have a clear picture of how many people I would need to help in order to make it worthwhile. But that's part of the reason I am posting. To figure out if people are still interested or are just as happy to refactor their code & move on.
