So the answer is, I have to go to monitor and connect, then go back to the Prepare tab and click on Print via USB.  

That seems to work, but is very un-intuitive.

I believe that with this version you'll have to click "Connect" on that Monitor tab prior to sending the print to the printer in order for it to succeed. It likely doesn't attempt to auto connect to the printer otherwise.

I should have this resolved for the next builds of CuraLE, regardless of if it ends up being a build of 4.13 or a newer 5.X build.
