Hey hey! Thanks for the heads up @neilernst & @remram44! Good news - in between these first posts and the finalization of the ROCK standard v1.0 (in that preprint Ernst linked to - PDF is at https://doi.org/qcf6), we also added support for character-level coding.
And/but more importantly: we won an Open Science grant, and we used it to commission {qualchemy}, an R package to interoperate between the REFI-QDA standard (the XML project export) and ROCK project files (https://codeberg.org/R-packages/qualchemy).
The vision for {qualchemy} is that ideally it can convert different qualitative software formats (mostly open source software formats; the proprietary ones in principle all support REFI-QDA) into each other.
So maybe a convenient way to achieve interoperability with Taguette would be to add Taguette to {qualchemy}?
