Hi Rafael, I filed a ticket to track this: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHELTEST-2704 we need approval from Donald for the module removal. And thanks for commit the mr for test case.
Tried on kernel-5.14.0-613.el9, virtio_mem.ko is still expected in the known remove list, so I didn't change the HEAD-9.8 part in the runtest.sh script
