Roots to WingsGoodKids MadCity (GKMC) is a youth-led gun violence prevention organization. We strive to get all people free. As an organization, we use many programs and initiatives to strive for the goodness and freedom of our people.
GKMC began on March 14, 2018, during national school walkouts. The founders in Chicago & Baltimore walked out of their respective schools and honored the fallen in their cities and others.
After their inception, GoodKids MadCity began to travel to spread awareness about the trauma that Black and Brown youth were experiencing on a day-to-day basis. GKMC is one of many organizations, we strive to amplify the message of those around us.
