GBM Marin Highlighted the Grandezza Line-Up

GBM Marin, a long-standing dealer of the Finnmaster brands in Sweden, presented three premium Grandezza models: Grandezza 37 CA, Grandezza 34 OC, and Grandezza 30 CA.

These models represent the elegance and comfort that define the Grandezza lineup. With refined interiors, high-quality materials and excellent offshore performance, the boats combine Scandinavian craftsmanship with modern European design.

Visitors to the GBM Marin stand were able to experience the spacious cabins, thoughtful layouts and premium finishes that make Grandezza a popular choice for boaters seeking both performance and luxury.

XL Marin Showcased Finnmaster and Husky

Swedish dealer XL Marin participated in the show with a display of two practical and versatile models: the Finnmaster Pilot 8 and the Husky R5.

The Finnmaster Pilot 8 attracted attention as a capable cabin boat designed for comfortable cruising and extended time on the water. Known for its smart layout and seaworthy performance, the model is well suited for Nordic conditions and year-round boating.

Alongside it, the Husky R5 demonstrated the brand’s rugged aluminum-and-fiberglass construction. Built for durability and ease of use, the R5 offers excellent handling and versatility, making it an ideal choice for active boaters navigating coastal waters or archipelagos.

XL Marin’s presence at the exhibition gave visitors the opportunity to step aboard the boats, explore their features in detail, and speak directly with experts about performance, design and ownership.

Participation by our dealers such as XL Marin and GBM Marin highlights the strong network supporting Finnmaster and Grandezza across Scandinavia. Boat shows like Allt för Sjön play an important role in connecting manufacturers, dealers and customers, offering an environment where enthusiasts can explore the latest models and prepare for the upcoming boating season.

For the Stockholm boat show visitors, the displays from XL Marin and GBM Marin provided an excellent opportunity to experience the reliability, smart design and premium quality that define Grandezza, Finnmaster, and Husky boats.

The Grandezza 30 Outboard attracted strong interest from visitors looking for a premium boating experience. Known for its elegant Nordic design, spacious layout, and powerful outboard performance, the model reflects the high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines the Grandezza range.

Also showcased at the stand was the Finnmaster Husky R5, a versatile aluminium boat designed for durability and confident handling. Its robust aluminium hull and practical layout make it well suited for active boaters who value reliability and functionality on the water.

Wow, how smoothly the boat can bend into turns. The Kokkola design team together with Mercury’s engine department have done a great job. The driving characteristics are amazing.

Previously equipped with sterndrives, the Grandezza 37 has gained a character with outboard engines that could be compared to British premium car brands. It comes from a combination of dignity and sporty power. In that environment, it’s perfectly okay to combine a light linen suit and Italian leather shoes with rally gloves. And in fact, when you look out the windows at the test drive environment, the prosperous archipelago of western Sweden, while making a turn at sea, it has similarities to the British manor house milieu.

The top speed achieved with two 400-horsepower Mercury engines under heavy load brings out a completely new feature in the boat. This is further enhanced by Mercury’s extremely fast and sophisticated trim automation.

All three boats on display in Cannes are powered by Mercury outboard engines, following a recent partnership between Finnmaster Boats and Mercury Marine.

This year’s meeting was particularly special as it coincided with the official launch of the Grandezza 37 Outboard and Grandezza 30 Outboard, two brand new models that exemplify the brand’s commitment to innovation, luxury, and performance. Notably, these boats are the first to be powered by Mercury outboard engines, marking a new era for the Grandezza line.

The Grandezza 37 OB is a masterpiece of modern design, offering unparalleled comfort, and sophistication. With its spacious interior spaces, high level of customization offerings, and powerful Mercury outboard engine options, the Grandezza 37 OB is poised to set a new standard in luxury boating.

Meanwhile, the Grandezza 30 OB combines sleek aesthetics with exceptional functionality. Designed for those who seek a boating lifestyle without compromising on performance, the Grandezza 30 OB features a smart versatile layout, luxurious features, and superior handling capabilities, all powered by Mercury outboard engines.

Finnmaster Boats has been manufacturing boats for nearly 35 years and is among the very few Finnish shipyards that still build their models entirely in-house in Finland. Finnmaster Boats plans to exhibit these models at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.

Both models have now on each side another wide hull window curving in the same direction, including an opening section with fly screen.

By signing an OEM supply and partnership agreement with Mercury Marine, Finnmaster, Husky and Grandezza outboard powered boats will now become available to its global base of dealers and boat owners also with the high end L4, V6, V8, V10 and V12 outboard engines and pre-rigging from the renowned marine propulsion world leader Mercury Marine.

Finnmaster, Husky and Grandezza outboard boats will become available with Mercury power immediately after this announcement.

The purpose of the Boat of the Show awards is to advance the boating industry’s development and give credit to companies for successful product development. The jury paid special attention to the novelty value of the shortlisted boats. In addition, focus was put on design, build and space utilization ideas, functionality and ergonomics of the spaces, price-quality and suitability for the intended use.

A pre-jury consisting of boat magazine editors selected the finalists for the Boat of the Show competition from the hundreds of boats that are presented at the Vene 23 Båt boat show. The winners were chosen by a jury including Harry Broman from Eurofins Expert Services, Tomi Peurakoski, editor at Vene magazine, Jouko Saarinen, editor at Kippari magazine, Jan Sjölund, Editor-in-Chief at Venemestari magazine and on-line media Totalvene.fi and Tom Wilenius from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. As new members of the jury, bringing a Nordic perspective, are Swedish Båtliv magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Lars-Åke Redéen and Norwegian Båtmagasinet magazine’s editor Atle Knutsen. The jury selecting the Boats of the Show characterized the winning boat as follows:

– The Cabin Cruiser of the Show Grandezza 30 CA offers comfortable, functional and stylish spaces for four persons for a longer boating vacation. Operating costs for the boat with a relatively compact size and one diesel inboard engine are reasonable. Large windows, high interior spaces and plenty of cruiser boat equipment increase comfort, and convenient solutions such as a scissor bed in the bow cabin and a back wall that can be opened to its full width improve usability.

The esteemed international motor boat magazine Motorboat & Yachting selects each year a winner from among many European boats after careful testing.

This award will also highlight modern Finnish boat design and boat building skills in the international market. Grandezza 37 CA combines the dynamic design of a sport cruiser and a well-protected cabin of a cabin cruiser.
