Genesee Global Group reached out to us in the Spring of 2025 to revamp their website and help make it stand out in their industry. We started with a new wireframe and some design comps for the site, and worked together to revise them based on their goals and our development and design expertise. For example, since many of their competitors use a blue-dominant color scheme (amazing how many websites have a blue color scheme!), we reworked the design with orange and gray/charcoal. We also reorganized existing content, added new content (such as Industries Served), took new photographs and editing some GoPro video footage of their machinery at work to use on the homepage and throughout the site.
The results speak for themselves – a clean, sharp and informative site that helps reflect the impressive engineering and manufacturing services they provide, encapsulated in their tagline, “Innovation with Imagination”.

]]>Grim joined the Pittsford Fire Department to document one of their training exercises in August (2025) – this one was a water rescue exercise in the canal at Schoen Place in Pittsford, NY. We took photos and drone video during the event, and then put some edited selections on their website afterwards. (We built their website in 2020, and have been working with them since to help manage the site and assist with online public relations efforts). Special thanks to Eric Lawler, our main point of contact at PFD; it’s a great group of people to work with, and we have a lot of respect for the service they provide to the community.

]]>In the Spring of 2023 we hosted filmmakers, organizers and the RIFF board of directors at our old studio location for their festival After Hours party. Afterwards, the President of RIFF, Marilyn Rosché, approached us about updating and modernizing the RIFF brand and website. At that time, the Rochester International Film Festival logo including homage to Movies on a Shoestring (the overarching organization for them) – which, by the way, has an interesting origin story you can now find on their new website.
Moving forward, the RIFF board wanted a more modern logo they could use across all of their marketing efforts. And they wanted a website that was a better reflection of the film festival they’ve been proudly organizing for more than 50 years. With this in mind, we redesigned and built out a website that reorganized the content that was starting to get lost on their old site, featured more film trailers, and made it easier for both festival attendees and filmmakers to find out more information about the festival and other film-related events that RIFF hosts throughout the year. We are currently building out more content regarding how community members can support the festival.
The Rochester International Film Festival board is made up entirely of volunteers; it’s been a pleasure working with them and seeing their enthusiasm both for the film community and the local Rochester community.
Check out their new site, which went live in March 2025. And take a look below at some of our photos from the most recent RIFF festival at the Dryden Theater at the George Eastman House!

]]>Good photos make designing a website much, much easier. So when we partnered with CHS Mobile Integrated Healthcare to redesign and develop a new website for them, we included photography services as part of the project. With Captain Alex Cook and Office Manager Krissy Leone as point, the entire project went smoothly and was rewarding to work on – from a photoshoot of some of their fleet in a nearby park and headshots at their base, to their close attention and care to the new organization and content on the website. We’re honored they’ve selected us as their partner, and look forward to working together more in the future.

Coming soon… a drone video tour of their renovated base!

]]>Grim has partnered with Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance (PVA) since 2017 to help promote the amazing work they do in the community. Under an umbrella of a public relations and managed marketing services program, we have designed and managed the PVA website, produced numerous videos to help drive recruitment and awareness, and have photographed the PVA base, ambulances, members, and special events. So when PVA hosted their first-ever golf tournament at Mendon Golf Club to raise funds to replace an ambulance and patient stretchers, we were there to capture some photos of the scene.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this event so successful – the golfers, sponsors, donors and organizers. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and everyone had a blast.
